The Kitchen India team required a modern website that effectively conveyed their story, from the chef’s background and cooking philosophy to the signature dishes and riverside ambience. The design had to highlight the fully halal menu, the Grade II listed building setting and the ethos of home-style cooking at its core.
They also needed functionality for online table booking, menu display, chef introduction and event information. The backend had to enable updates to the menu, gallery images, opening hours and booking availability without technical assistance.
The final website presents Kitchen India as both authentic and modern. Visitors are immersed in the chef’s story and the concept of home-style Indian cooking, supported by imagery of dishes and the County Hall setting. The fully halal menu is highlighted throughout, reinforcing culinary integrity and quality.
A seamless booking interface connects visitors to a table reservation system. Admin tools allow the restaurant team to update menu items, opening hours, location details and visual content easily and independently, ensuring the site remains current and inviting.
